If you haven’t noticed, there are a few new features on the site, in addition to this blog.
First up, the Photo of the Day is now a cool slideshow thingy, instead of just a loooong display of all the pics that have been past “Photo of the Day” major award winners. So, put your feet up, and just watch the cool motorbikes, Jeeps, sports cars, hot rods and other vehicles slide right by on your screen. You can also use the navigation controls to move forwards or backwards, jump to a specific pic, or play/pause. On a mobile device, you can also swipe, just like on Tinder.
I’ve also added links to my Personal Weather Station in the “Social” section on the footer of every page. Following this link will take you to real-time weather conditions at the top of Suck Creek Mountain, including temp, rain, wind, radar and everything you’ll need when travelling the Suck Creek/Prentice Cooper area. I’m looking at adding a live weather camera to my station, so keep an eye out for that. Enjoy!
As part of this blog implementation, there’s also a feed straight from my Instagram (IG link in the footer below). That’s it, right over there on the right. The images are loaded randomly, so you should see different shots every time you visit.
